A Place at the Table

November 4, 2026

On any given week at New Life Ranch, you might find elementary students racing across a field, a men’s retreat gathered around a campfire, families sharing a meal, or adults worshiping together. One group may have traveled from just down the road, while another has come from across the state. Each group arrives with its own story, purpose, and reason for being here.

This is the beauty of our retreat ministry. At its heart, retreats extend a simple invitation: Come. There is a place for you here.

We have the privilege of partnering with a remarkably diverse network of ministries. We serve churches, schools, families, and organizations of all ages and stages, from neighborhood churches to specialized outreach organizations. Some groups have been coming for years, while others are visiting New Life Ranch for the very first time. Each arrives with different needs and goals, yet all are invited to step away from the noise of everyday life, encounter God, and grow together.

Our role is to come alongside these groups and create an environment where their ministry can flourish. Sometimes that means providing a space for a youth pastor to share the Gospel with teenagers. Sometimes it looks like helping a family reconnect around a shared meal, welcoming a group into a new environment, or adapting our facilities, meals, and schedules so everyone can fully participate.

It is easy to see this variety simply as different groups we serve, but it is something far greater.

Every time we open our gates, we have an opportunity to reflect the heart of God, a God who continually extends an invitation and makes room for people to draw near. Scripture paints a beautiful picture of a Kingdom made up of people from every nation, generation, and background. At New Life Ranch, we get small glimpses of that picture every week.

We may not all worship the same way, speak the same language, or share the same story, but we gather around the same table. We make room for one another. We point one another toward Jesus.

That is why the invitation matters. Every group that arrives reminds us that the Gospel is for everyone.

So we will keep extending the invitation and making room. We will keep partnering with groups near and far to create spaces where people encounter Jesus and experience the welcome of His Kingdom.

Because there is a place for everyone in the Kingdom of God, there is a place for everyone here.
