SERVE Team
We are a team of men and women who love Jesus and desire to see His name made known, not our own. We'll be the first to admit we aren't perfect. It's great then that God doesn't require us to be perfect when He uses us!

New Life Ranch equips 18–25-year-olds with training, support, and real-world experience as they grow in their faith and prepare for ministry or future career steps. Participants gain responsibility, build lasting relationships, and find clarity about what’s next.
How We Equip
Training & Certifications
Our staff training spans two weeks and is designed to be intensive. It covers essential certifications such as Level 1 Ropes and Red Cross Lifeguard, along with a 3-day backpacking trip. Additionally, we emphasize staff expectations and professionalism.
Networking
We will organize networking days throughout the year, allowing the team to visit local ministries and organizations. This will provide a chance to connect with nearby ministries. After each visit, reflect on what you liked and disliked about the organization. From the organizations that presented, select three to send follow-up emails and build connections.
Weekly Meetings
During our check-in, we'll review last week's activities and set our goals for the upcoming week. Let's also take a moment to share any prayer requests and pray for the groups that will be joining us.
Monthly In-Service
Join us for a 2-hour session focused on personal development and practical skills. We have a total of nine sessions, with our team organizing six and the last three planned by our members.
How We Connect
Living Spaces
- Housing provided on site
- Clear expectation on what is allowed in housing (e.g. no pets or alcohol)
- Monthly check-ins for cleanliness or maintenance issues
Twice Per Month Check-Ins
- The guest services team will make sure and meet with each staffer at least twice per month to check in and see how they are doing and set and maintain goals.
Community Events
- Once a month social gathering sponsored by NLR
- An opportunity to relax and unwind with the team
Fall Scheduling
- 8 Full-time SERVE members
- Five days on, two days off
- Never work more than seven consecutive days without an off day
- One full weekend off a month
- One weekend of hosting per month minimum
Salary & Benefits
- $900-$1000 (depending on experience) monthly salary before tax
- Eligible for support-raising
- 5 vacation days total
- No healthcare provided
- Housing, Utilities, & Internet fully covered
- Can eat in the dining hall when there are groups on site
