The Old Made New

December 11, 2025

For more than sixty-seven years, New Life Ranch has been a place where lives are transformed, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed, and believers are equipped. Generations of campers have walked its trails, worshiped under rustic roofs, and gathered around campfires in sacred community. Thousands have encountered Christ deeply here, while countless others have taken faith steps that shaped their life’s direction.

What began decades ago as a vision for a Christ-centered camp has become a legacy of renewal spanning families, churches, and communities. Yet time leaves its mark. Buildings weather, spaces grow tired, and recreational areas that once formed one generation must be refreshed for the next. New Life Ranch is no exception. What makes this place remarkable is how God breathes renewal—not only into facilities, but also into the hearts of all who enter.

Renewal Rooted in Scripture

The camp’s very name flows from 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” This verse captures both the Gospel’s essence and the camp’s story. Just as individuals are made new in Christ, New Life Ranch is being renewed through God’s provision and His people’s generosity.

Every project here is more than construction—it reflects Scripture’s truth. The old is not discarded but redeemed and repurposed. Places that served past generations are refreshed to inspire the next. Renewal is both practical and spiritual: a parking lot becomes a gathering space, an unused building is transformed for leadership, and a weathered waterfront becomes joyful once again. This ongoing renewal testifies that God is still making the old new.

Renewal In Action

The transformation is visible across both of our sites. At Frontier Cove, a parking lot has been reborn as a welcoming green space where campers now gather for games, worship, and fellowship. Elsewhere, a once-empty building has been updated to train staff and leaders who will disciple the next generation.

The waterfront, worn by years of activity, has been renewed into a vibrant place of laughter and connection. Generations have jumped into its waters, and now future generations will continue experiencing fellowship by its banks.

Each of these projects tells a story—not of financial costs, but of lives impacted. Every swing of a hammer echoes the larger work God is doing in the hearts of campers: redeeming, restoring, and preparing them for His purposes.

The Generations Campaign

This sense of stewardship birthed the Generations Campaign, a multi-phase effort to prepare New Life Ranch for decades of ministry. Rooted in Psalm 145:4—“One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts”—the campaign is more than fundraising. It is a vision of sustainability through stewardship, discipleship, and legacy.

Passing faith to the next generation requires intentionality—wise planning, faithful generosity, and steadfast prayer. Facilities are renewed, leaders are equipped, and the mission is positioned to thrive far into the future.

We now stand in the final stretch of Phase 1. With just under $300,000 left to raise—and a generous $100,000 matching opportunity—the finish line is near. Every gift given now multiplies in impact, not only financially but spiritually.

When you give to New Life Ranch, you are not merely funding buildings or recreational spaces. You are investing in transformation. One camper meets Christ, goes home, and impacts their family. That family then brings light to their community. A single act of generosity here can reverberate for generations.

The Generations Campaign is not about dollars—it is about legacy. It is about obedience to God’s call to commend His works to the next generation.

A Lasting Impact

At this moment in New Life Ranch’s history, the theme “The Old Made New” feels more alive than ever. Through God’s provision, the generosity of His people, and the Spirit’s ongoing work, renewal is unfolding before our eyes.

Facilities are refreshed—but more importantly, lives are transformed. The legacy of over six decades is not simply being preserved; it is being propelled forward so countless more can hear and respond to the Gospel.

Thank you for being part of this story. Your prayers, support, and partnership make it possible for New Life Ranch to remain a place where the Gospel is proclaimed, people are renewed, and generations are equipped to declare God’s mighty works.

Together, we are witnessing the old become new—and building a legacy that will echo far beyond our lifetimes.
