"There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience. "
Hebrews 4:9–11
A Time of Rest for Ministry Leaders
Ministry is demanding, and as a leader, it can be a struggle for you to find the time you need to step back and care for your own rest and spiritual health. At New Life Ranch, we desire to provide an environment where you can slow down, reflect on the work God has done, and be refreshed—equipped to return to your communities with renewed vision and strength.
Mosey - to move slower.
The Mosey Gathering exists to come alongside those serving in full-time ministry & create a space for intentional rest, renewal, and reflection.

Come Alongside Ministry Leaders
We’re inviting experienced, thoughtful ministry leaders (church staff, parachurch leaders, nonprofit ministry leaders) and practitioners to help create a gathering where those who spend their lives pouring into others have space to receive. We’re looking for voices that bring biblical encouragement, honest conversation, and practical wisdom without sending leaders home with another list of things to accomplish.

Conversations We’re Exploring
We are still in the process of building out the agenda for the weekend and coordinating with speakers, but here is an idea of the types of topics that will be discussed during The Mosey Gathering.
The Biblical Invitation to Rest: Exploring Sabbath, rest, and what it means to trust God’s presence and provision in the midst of meaningful work.
Leading Toward Rest: Helping leaders cultivate rhythms and environments where rest, spiritual health, and longevity in ministry are valued.
Rhythms for Ministry + Life: Practical, sustainable rhythms that make room for ministry, family, faith, relationships, and rest.
Permission to Rest: Reframing rest not as something earned when the work is finished, but as an act of faithfulness, trust, and dependence on God.
Healthy Leadership + Culture: Creating ministry cultures where leaders model healthy boundaries, Sabbath rhythms, and sustainable ways of serving.
