When can I expect a response to my phone call or e-mail?
We will try our very best to respond to all phone messages & e-mails within 24 hours. (top)

When is the early registration discount given?
The discount will be given once we receive your registration if the deposit is paid at that time. The deposit must be paid prior to the early registration expiration date (December 31st) in order to receive the discount. (top)

When I register my camper is my space confirmed?
Your space is only confirmed when the registration is received, the deposit is paid, and we have room in a cabin. If you submit a registration and pay at least the deposit by credit card, the registration is processed and assuming we have room in a cabin, the camper is confirmed. If you pay by check or other method, the registration remains “pending” until payment is received. (top)

Will I be notified if my space is lost due to failure to send my deposit?
We try to give ample warning before this happens. We will attempt to notify you through email or by phone. In the event we are unable to make contact with you, the space will be made available to another camper. It is ultimately your responsibility to make your payment. (top)

If my camper changes weeks and other cabin mates want to change also, can I make this request on behalf of their parents?
No. We need to hear from each parent individually. The request may be handled through e-mail to registrar@newliferanch.com. Fulfilling cabin request changes may be difficult if this request is made late in the season. (top)

If we cancel after having registered will my deposit be refunded?
Our policy states deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. We do take into consideration illness, family issues, etc. Each request will be reviewed on an individual basis. Exceptions to the policy should be sent to Russ Schultz at russ@newliferanch.com. (top)

Can I receive the Buddy Bucks discount for siblings?

No. Buddy Bucks can only be received for non-family members. There are no discounts given for Leadership Development campers. (top)

Since Leadership campers are not given discounts, would their sibling be entitled to the Family Discount?
No, the Family Discount is given to two or more siblings attending Summer Camp. No discounts apply to Leadership Development. (top)

How many cabin mates can I request?
One. (top)

Can we know ahead of time which cabin our camper will be in and if they are with the cabin mate they requested?
Cabin Assignments are finalized right before Sunday check-in begins at 3:00 p.m. You will be notified of your camper’s cabin at check-in. While we work diligently to honor cabin mate requests, there are times when we are unable to fulfill all requests. Late registrations and changes late in the season are primarily the cause for being unable to accommodate your cabin mate request. Occupancy levels are also a determining factor. (top)

Can I obtain information on other campers such as weeks they are registered, cabin mates they may have requested and whether they are in a cabin with my child?
We are dedicated to the safety of our campers and take this responsibility very seriously. Therefore our policy is that we do not share information about other campers. We are also concerned about giving out information to someone who should not have it. (top)

If my camper wants to come to more than one week of camp, can I apply for more than one scholarship?
We give scholarships to kids because we want as many children as possible to experience summer camp. We don’t want finances (or the lack of) to be the only reason a child doesn’t come to camp. We ask that you request a scholarship for only one week of camp. (top)

If I receive scholarship funds will I be entitled to all applicable discounts?
We believe that everyone should pay something for camp. We want as many children as possible to experience camp and believe that paying something, whatever that may be, will help the family value the camp experience. Scholarships are granted based on the amount you can pay.

Therefore, any discounts will apply to the scholarship amount and do not reduce the amount you have agreed to pay. One exception is the Buddy Bucks discount. You are entitled to the Buddy Bucks discount if you have been to camp before AND you invite someone who has never been to camp before and they attend camp.
Any "extras" such as paid activity classes, Canteen, theme T-shirt, DVD and camp picture are not included in the scholarship amount and should be paid for by the camper or family if desired. These "extras" will be additional fees on top of the amount you indicated you could pay for the week of camp. Buddy Bucks can be applied toward these “extras.” (top)

Will you automatically charge my credit card for the balance after we have registered and paid the initial deposit?
No. We do not automatically charge your credit card. We ask that the entire account balance be paid at least two weeks prior to your camp week. We have online payment options available on the website. You may also pay by check or call our office and we will assist you with a credit card payment. (top)

Will I forfeit my spot if my balance is not paid by two weeks before my session begins?
It is possible. If we have campers on our wait list; we want to give them the opportunity to come to camp. We would first notify you and give you the opportunity to pay your balance. (top)

Where can I find a packing list, drop off and pick up times and information about Friday night Chapel services?
Check out the Guide to Camp. (top)

What is this year's theme?
This year's theme is All or Nothing. The weekly themes can be found on the Dates and Availability page. (top)

When will the Family Discount be applied?
The Family Discount will be given once we receive your registration. We will apply $20 per child, per week they attend & it will be reflected on the account statement we send you with your confirmation email. (top)

Why are there different prices for different weeks?
Every week of camp at New Life Ranch is essentially the same camp experience. Each week has different themes and different speakers, but all the staff and programming (schedule, free time activities, activity classes, etc.) are the same. We price the weeks of camp differently based on scheduling demand, not on any difference in quality of staff or programming. Early weeks and late weeks are historically less attended, so we are trying to encourage a full week of camp for every camper regardless of which week of camp is selected.(top)
