We Like Summer!

Summer camp at New Life Ranch is a unique way for campers going into 3rd through 12th grade to experience Christ. At NLR campers spend a whole week doing things like riding horses, mountain biking, rock climbing, worshiping God, and studying the Bible, all while building relationships with peers, counselors, and ultimately Jesus Christ. Those relationships are what make New Life Ranch’s summer camp thrive. Campers spend quality time with an incredible staff dedicated to exemplifying Christ. And through them, they get to see that a life lived for God is fun, exciting, and full of purpose.

Summer Camp at NLR is designed around three goals:

  • A program that keeps the spiritual, emotional, and physical safety of all guests in mind
  • Provide an opportunity for biblical, spiritual growth
  • Provide a hands on educational experience

Everything we do reflects these goals and is designed to be cutting edge, high energy, fun, and relationship-driven. Through this approach, campers get to play, learn, and develop as individuals, communities and followers of Christ.

Safety

We take safety seriously here at New Life Ranch. Physical safety is a first priority. We have plenty of staff around (our ratio is 1 staff to every 5 campers) to keep an eye on things. But more importantly we hire some of the best college students around. They take their job seriously, are well trained, and are constantly monitoring camper safety.

We also want New Life Ranch to be an emotionally safe place. This means that we want campers to be free to be themselves, ask real questions, and just be kids. We always watch for signs of bullying, homesickness, loneliness, and other situations that may be physically, emotionally or spiritually unsafe for campers.

MCP
Morning Camp Party (or MCP as we like to call it) is one of the most exciting parts of the day. And why is it call Morning Camp Party, you may be asking? Well...it happens at 11:11am, the whole camp attends, and it is one big party! We sing silly songs, play fun games, and watch hilarious skits. It might just be the best hour of camp!
waterfront
The Blob. Wet Willy. Silver Bullet. The Trolley. The Rings. If you want to have fun during Free Time the waterfront is the place to be!
