PREREQUISITE: Attend on Horsin Around event or the equivilent (approved by NLR staff)
FOCUS: Looking to God to take your love for horses one step further by developing leadership skills that will improve your riding and carry over into your daily life, basic ground work, riding patters, trails obstacles, cantering

Packing List

  • Long Pants for Riding-
  • Boots/tennis shoes– bring multiple pairs in case it rains!
  • Jacket/Rain Jacket for cool nights and rainy days.
  • Bedding– All campers need a pillow, sheets and blanket, or sleeping bag for a twin bed.
  • Towels and washcloths
  • Personal hygiene items
  • Sunscreen and insect repellent
  • Peanut-free snacks and bottled water to keep in the cabin.
  • Prescription medications
  • Bible, notebook, and pen.
  • Don’t Bring This Stuff
    Pets, cash, tobacco in any form, alcoholic beverages, drugs (including non-prescription), lighters, matches, weapons, fireworks, radios, ipods/ipads/mp3 players, electronic game systems, cell phones, pagers, roller blades, skateboards, video games, magazines, or sexually explicit literature or items of any kind.
