Graduate Assistant (GA) positions are designed to sharpen the skills of ministry practitioners, equipping them to be exceptional leaders for the Christian outdoor, adventure, and camp ministry movements, and the church.
Graduate Assistantship Program
Application of your classroom learning to hands on leadership and ministry is a critical component of your education. The Graduate Assistantship (GA) position provides you with the opportunity to make a real contribution to New Life Ranch while earning income.
All Graduate Assistants will be exposed to many of the core skills needed for organizational leadership including: marketing, budgeting, program planning and evaluation, strategic planning, and staff recruitment, hiring, and supervision.

HOW TO APPLY
Apply to the M.A. in Christian Formation and Ministry or M.A. in Evangelism and Leadership through Wheaton or the M.S. in Outdoor Program Management through John Brown University.
All Graduate Assistantship applicants must first apply and be accepted into Wheaton’s M.A. in Christian Formation and Ministry–Outdoor and Adventure Leadership concentration or the M.A. in Evangelism and Leadership–Outdoor and Adventure Leadership concentration. Application deadline is July 15, 2018. Please inform your Graduate Admissions Counselor, as well as the New Life Ranch Outdoor Ministries Manager, of your intentions to apply for the GA position at your earliest opportunity.
