How do I know which sessions of Camp are available for my camper?

The only way to know is to go ahead and register.
Log into our on-line registration system, and after entering your camper’s details you will see a list of sessions that are available. If the session you want is visible on the list of available sessions, and you choose it and complete the registration, that means your camper has a reserved spot. If that session has filled, only the wait listed version of the session will be visible for your camper.

What if both the wait listed version and the regular version of a session show up on my list to choose from?

That means there is a still a spot available for your camper, but there are just a few spots left.

The bottom line is, when in doubt, register!

If you see the regular version of a session on the list, that means you can choose it.

EXPERIENCE OVERNIGHT CAMP ON THURSDAY!

Is your Day Camper ready for a little more adventure? Sign them up for the Day Camp Overnight! Rather than picking up your camper on Thursday, they’ll stay with our trained staff and flock leaders for an evening of fun and adventure!

LEARN MORE

Stay Overnight ($30)

On Thursday night, instead of heading home, day campers will stay here for a cookout, swim time, chapel, a night game, and a campout! The Thursday overnight costs $30

Where do they sleep?
The Day Campers will stay at two beautiful camp sites at New Life Ranch (one for the girls, one for the boys). We’ll have tents and tarps (for those who want a canopy of stars).
What if it rains?
In the event of bad weather, we’ll move our party indoors!
What if my camper gets sick or misses home?
We have a nurse or doctor at New Life Ranch at all times during the summer. They will inform you if your camper is sick and needing attention. Our staff are trained in how to care for campers who are missing home. In extreme cases, we’ll call home and talk with you about how to best help your camper.
Can we see how the first few days go and sign up for the overnight later?
Absolutely! We want your campers to enjoy their experience at New Life Ranch. If you’re not sure they’re ready, you have until Wednesday (the day before their overnight) to register.

Frequently Asked Questions

On Monday, campers will take a swim test, although they can opt out. Campers who pass the swim test get a wristband and also have the option to swim in our creek (with a lifejacket on). For those who do not pass the swim test – which is very common for day campers! – they still have access to our pool. Our pool has two areas, one which is max of 2 feet deep, and the deep area is only 4.5 feet deep. Some campers do bring a lifejacket or water wings, so feel free to send something like that if you’d like! We always have 3 lifeguards on duty at the pool, as well as all the counselors swimming with the kids. Day Campers often get anxiety about the swim test, so if they’d like to take the test at a later day in the week, we can make that happen!
That means there is a still a spot available for your camper, but that session is wait listing for other genders, so we want the wait list version to be available to them.

The Bottom line is…

When in doubt, register! If you see the regular version of a session on the list, that means you can choose it.

Day Campers will not visit the canteen during the day, so they don’t need canteen money. We’ll provide an afternoon snack, and if you would like a souvenir we’ll have our canteen open at Friday closing!

GUIDE TO CAMP

Here are some things to know now that you are registered for camp!

NWA shuttle ($50)

We are excited to offer a Day Camp shuttle for campers from Northwest Arkansas. We pick up at Ozark Center Pointe Place in Springdale at 8:00am each morning, and we drop off at 5:30pm.
The cost is $50 per camper.
We are unable to prorate this option, so payment for the entire week is required. If you desire to use the shuttle you will need to pay for the entire week, but will not be required to utilize the service each day. When you pick up your camper, please let us know if you will not be utilizing the service the following day.
