If you came here looking for a detailed, hour-by-hour look at the schedule as a Nehi you aren't going to find it! Why? Well, there is quite a bit of flexibility in the program, so every session will look a little from all the others. However, there are some parts of the program that are guaranteed to happen:

Work Projects

There are a lot of things that go on behind the scenes to make a week of camp at NLR possible, and Nehi's play an important role to help these things happen. Whether it be serving meals in the dining hall or cleaning up around camp, there are myriad of ways Nehi's are utilized around camp. While the work can be sweaty at times, it is during these projects that the teams learn what serving like Nehemiah is really about!

Community Service

Located in one of the poorest per capita counties in Oklahoma, NLR is strategically located to impact our surrounding communities.  Nehi's will get the opportunity to serve in our community, being the hands and feet of Jesus as they learn to serve those in our targeted outreach communities.

Challenge Course

On the Challenge Course Nehi's are taught how to work as a team, as well as the importance of learning to trust and rely on others. While many of the activities address issues they will face as a Nehi, the Challenge Course teaches paradigm challenging lessons that can be applied beyond the summer to the real life challenges faced by campers in their everyday lives.

Bible Study and Chapel

"Nehemiah Team" got its name from the book of Nehemiah, so the Bible studies focus on a look at the life of Nehemiah and the example he set as a servant of God. Supplementing these Bible studies is a chapel specifically for leadership campers.

Offsite Adventure Trip

This overnight adventure trip is one of the most exciting (and sometimes challenging) parts of the Nehemiah program! The trip is designed to makes a lasting impression as students step outside of their comfort zones, conquer fears, and learn about what it truely means to trust in God as their guide for life.
