This week is the first week of camp at NLR! Last Sunday 241 campers showed up at NLR for week2, and we are excited to see the work God will do in these campers lives over the next few days. The first day of camp was another important first: Wagon Inn has campers in it for the first time ever! The Facilities Team put in a lot of long hours over the past mounts to get everything ready to go, and they did a great job! There is still some landscaping and a few exterior details to finish up, but other then that they are done! Check out a few pictures of Wagon Inn being used on Sunday! (5/13/07)
With the help of John Brown University and Eagle Construction work is progressing rapidly on the New Wagon Inn! Around 10 students from JBU come out to camp two times a week to gain hands on experience in their Construction Management classes by working on Wagon Inn. They have been working hard and getting making great progress! For information about how you can help out with this and other projects at NLR visit the support section.

Construction continues on New Wagon Inn! Our facilities department recently poured the foundation of the first cabin, and the block is being laid this week. Special thanks go out to everybody who has made this project possible! (6/5/06)
It was a happy day for Mr. Rhett when he got to be the first person in NLR history to go off the Blob at the Waterfront. The Blob is our newest element. It is a huge bag full of air that launches you into the air when a partner jumps on the other end. Check out the pictures below!! (5/29/06)
We have some big changes on the Waterfront. Fishing, boating, and classics like the slide are still around, and we just put up the Wet Willie (we have to take it down during the winter to protect it from the weather). We are very grateful for Meadow Creek Church of Andover, Minnesota and the work they are doing here! They are spending the week with us doing work projects that are a great help around camp. The youth and leaders have been clearing bush from around the West 40 and houses, building two garages, painting, cutting wood, and getting the barn ready for summer. Thanks for all your hard work!
