Educational Programming
The mission of NLR’s Outdoor Education Ministry is to help campers see the fingerprints of a caring and creative God, spark an appreciation for nature, and assist parents by getting kids excited about learning. Using our 1000 acre hardwood forest as the classroom, NLR’s outdoor education adventure guides design customized science labs and learning activities for Christian and Public Schools, as well as Home School groups. Challenge Camps exists to meet the mission of New Life Ranch utilizing activities that challenge people to look at life in new ways. By using tools like the Challenge Course, geocaching, wilderness trips, and fire building we create programs that help students see their challenges through a new lens. New Life Ranch staff designs programs, both on our site, at your school, or in a wilderness setting, that use perceived risk, unfamiliar situations, and critical reflection to move groups of students to new heights. The hallmark of a Challenge Camp program is a Biblical, spiritual discussion after each activity. Our skilled facilitators use the experiences of the group to lay out new visions for what is possible with Christ.
